Camp weeks

Each week of camp will have a different theme to explore. The first half of the day is Focused Learning Time in which lessons are taught that build upon a project theme or a design challenge. Campers learn specific engineering, technology, and computer skills in addition to the design thinking process. Campers use Maker Journals to guide and document their design process.  After lunch, there is Tinker Time. This is a relaxed time for campers to explore activities and materials of their choice, working individually or in teams. Campers use Tinker Journals to plan and document their explorations.

There is a Student Showcase on the last day of each camp week, from 3:30-4:30. Students have the opportunity to share their designs, projects and process with family friends, staff, guests, and Industry professionals. All are invited to provide comments and feedback on student work.

To learn more about each week, peruse the sub menus under the "Camp Weeks" tab above or click on the week below.
